Discussion Forum Guidelines

This forums are a space for general course discussions as you progress through the series. Facilitation will begin in the next week or so, but in the meantime, feel free to introduce yourself and share a bit about what brought you to this course.

The discussion forums are private, meaning only fellow students and facilitators on a course can view or participate in the conversations. Confidentiality is critical — please refrain from sharing any anything said here by your fellow students outside your group.

Below are the forum rules that all participants must adhere to:

Respectful Communication

Be courteous in your responses to other members. Disrespectful, abusive, or slanderous comments towards students or facilitators will not be tolerated.

Non-Judgmental Engagement

Avoid making statements or judgments that you believe are indisputably correct. Instead, approach the material and discussions with curiosity and humility.

Respect Each Other’s Process

Value the diversity of perspectives and experiences in the forums.

Confidentiality and Boundaries

Respect the confidential nature of the material and discussions.

Active Participation

Your contributions matter! Offering your reflections fosters a supportive environment where everyone feels witnessed and valued.

Kindness and Compassion

When working with the psyche, approach yourself and others with gentleness and understanding.

Stay Focused

Refrain from promoting products, services, memes, or unrelated content. These clutter the space and distract from the course’s focus. Such posts will be removed.

Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in removal from the discussion forums.
